I'm new to letterboxing and I live in the Rio Grande of Texas. I just
started "listening in" on the conversations and heard that you are coming to
Brownsville. I am interested in launching letterboxing in the Rio Grande
Valley by organizing a group and placing boxes in the wild life corridors
and parks to enhance the eco-tourism here. Any help would be appreciated
and if possible, I would like to meet you when you are down. I'm in
McAllen, but I would be willing to drive to Brownsville to meet you and have
you show me a few things about letterboxing.
I'll stay tuned.

As a footnote to my last post in response to Carol, I'm leaving for
Texas today and won't be back 'till next Tuesday so I may not be able
to check my email before then, but I can definately do the 26th.
Soup is cheap to make, so one or two dollars a head would definately
cover the cost. I can cook either with our without an assistant, so
everyone else can 'box if they want. The time is not terribly
important to me. Thoughts on a get-together stamp? I'd be willing
to carve one. Seems those kids on the other side of the pond carve
one-day-only stamps for events.

I'm also planning a box or two while I'm down there. Brownsville,
TX. The southernmost city in the USA.
